Police operatives in Bayelsa State have apprehended a 24-year-old man, Godgift Bai, for allegedly circulating a private video of a young girl on social media.
ASP Musa Mohammed, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest in a statement released on Friday, September 6, 2024. Bai, who hails from Ogbolomabiri in Nembe Local Government Area, was arrested in Yenagoa on September 3, following a thorough investigation by the Cyber Crime Unit. The investigation was ordered by the Commissioner of Police, CP Alonyenu Francis Idu.
