Borno State has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of its Commissioner for Finance, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, who was found dead in his room on Monday, August 26, 2024. The discovery was made after concerns arose when Ahmed did not appear at his usual morning time, leading to the decision to forcefully open his door.
