A serving corps member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has been reported missing while traveling to Lagos for his Passing Out Parade (POP).
The report was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Mho_bolajhi, who revealed that the corps member was scheduled to participate in the POP ceremony on June 3, 2025.
According to the post, the missing corps member left for Lagos on June 1, 2025, ahead of the official event.
However, he has not been seen or heard from since then, despite authorities being alerted to his disappearance.
In a plea for public assistance, @Mho_bolajhi wrote:
“Good day sir, our brother, an NYSC member, went missing on his way to Lagos on June 1, 2025, ahead of his POP on June 3. Authorities have been notified, but there’s been little progress. Any help or intervention you can provide will mean a great deal to us during this difficult time.”
The post has drawn concern from social media users, many of whom are calling for swift action and public vigilance to help locate the missing corps member.
