Nigerian singer Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, better known as Oxlade, recently revealed that his musical journey began at an exceptionally young age, claiming he started singing before he could even talk.
Speaking on a recent episode of the ’90s Babies podcast, Oxlade shared that his parents often reminded him of his early musical talent, noting that as a child, he was able to sing long before he could properly form words.
“I started singing before I started talking. My parents told me that I started singing before I could even talk,” the singer explained. “I sang faster than catching up with talks. That was what my parents told me. I feel like that was where it all started from,” he added, reflecting on his musical roots.
Oxlade’s early talent has clearly blossomed into a successful music career, as he continues to captivate audiences with his unique sound and vocal prowess.
