Pastor Paul Adefarasin, a prominent Lagos-based cleric and founder of House On The Rock Church, has turned himself in to the Lagos State Police Command following the circulation of a viral video showing him holding what appears to be a gun-like object while driving an unregistered vehicle.
The video raised public concern as it allegedly captured the pastor brandishing the object towards another road user during what seemed like a road altercation.
Police spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that:
Pastor Adefarasin voluntarily reported to the police on Monday, June 17.
He is currently being interrogated by detectives.
The object in question, the vehicle status, and the full context of the incident are all under investigation.
Hundeyin emphasized that the outcome of the investigation will be made public once completed.
