Nigeria music star Peter Okoye, formerly one half of the iconic duo P-Square, testified against his older brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, in a Federal High Court in Lagos on April 14, 2025.

The case centers around allegations of financial misconduct and money laundering, involving the alleged misappropriation of ₦1.38 billion through a company linked to Jude’s wife.

During his testimony, Peter told the court that group royalties from P-Square were allegedly diverted without proper accountability. He emphasized that the funds were channeled through a firm he believes was used to mismanage earnings meant for the group.

The case has sparked major conversations online, especially among fans of the defunct P-Square duo, as it brings a deeply personal family matter into the public legal arena.

The proceedings are ongoing, with more witnesses expected to appear as the court works through the financial claims.
