Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has shared his reflections on why he regrets not having baby mamas. In a candid interview with BET Africa, the “Shake Body” crooner opened up about the emotional burden he feels as the sole surviving member of his family bloodline.

Skales, who is a father-of-one, revealed that his realization came after the tragic loss of his mother. He noted that with her passing, he became acutely aware that his family’s lineage now rests solely on him. “Right now, I regret not having baby mamas. I regret it because I’m the only person in my family’s bloodline alive. The whole bloodline relies on me to produce,” the singer explained.

The artist further expressed how his mother’s death left him feeling the weight of being the last remaining link in his family’s generational line. “When my mom died, I realized that there is not much of my bloodline,” he added, reflecting on how the thought of continuing his family’s legacy has become a pressing concern for him.

While Skales has typically kept his personal life out of the spotlight, this heartfelt revelation sheds light on his internal struggles and the weight of familial expectations.
